The goal of Kitchen Mate app is to encourage individuals to adopt healthy eating habits and raise their level of awareness of eating and cooking healthy as well as how recycling practices affect the environment. The goal of kitchen Mate is to provide all relevant information about recipes based on the users’ needs, including the ingredients where they can order them, serving size, cooking time, and instructions. Moreover, the app offers users valuable information on how to recycle products from home or office. In addition, the KitchenMate app provides users with the ability to select and customize home workouts based on their individual preferences. The app was developed using a user-centered design approach where different methods were used at every stage of the process. At the end of the project, a short video (2 minutes) was filmed to show how the users may use the app in the future.
